Our Panda Guard 500x150mm 140um are designed to support citrus, avocado, walnut, macadamia and almond plantations.

Our Panda Guard has a black interior, which prevents UV light exposure to the base of the plant therefore reducing the formation of shoots and lateral roots.
The guards white exterior is highly effective at preventing too much heat exposure during the warmer months.
The Panda Guard also serves as protection from herbicide spray drift, birds and vermin.
Bamboo stakes are suitable for this type of guard.
Where being use on vines, one bamboo is enough to secure the guard and vine to trellising.
Where being used to support fruit trees, one or two bamboo’s are suitable.
When deciding on a “common size” to stock we had our local and interstate growers in mind, with 500x150mm at a 140um being the most effective.
